Grading anonymously can help you stay objective and reduce unconscious bias, ensuring fairer and more equitable assessments for your students. InnerOrbit’s Hide Student Names feature makes it easy to anonymize student work while scoring.

🚀 Step-by-Step Instructions to Hide Student Names While Grading

  1. Navigate to the Grading section:
    Log in to your InnerOrbit account and head to the Grading tab.

  2. Select an assignment:
    Click View Questions to Grade for the assessment you are grading.

  3. Begin grading:
    Click Grade Now to open the grading interface.

  4. Open the Review options:
    In the top right corner of the grading page, click Review.

  5. Hide student names:
    Select the Hide Student Names button in the top left corner. Student names will be replaced with fictitious ones, allowing for anonymous grading. You can switch back anytime by selecting Show Student Names.

  6. Complete grading:
    Once you're done, exit the grading interface or leave the Grading tab, and student names will reset automatically.
