What This Help Article Covers:
π Overview of the Dimensions Report
The Dimensions Report provides insights into student performance by tracking proficiency percentages across the three NGSS dimensions:
Disciplinary Core Ideas (DCIs) β Content knowledge mastery
Science & Engineering Practices (SEPs) β Application of scientific skills
Crosscutting Concepts (CCCs) β Scientific thinking patterns
These percentages represent the percentage of questions answered correctly for that dimension across ALL your students and assessments in a given school year.
The colors represent the different proficiency scales.
The default proficiency ranges are:
Advanced: 60%
Proficient: 40%
Basic: 20%
Below Basic: 0%
Default ranges are based on patterns observed in state science test scale scores across multiple NGSS-aligned states.
