The InnerOrbit student dashboard empowers students to stay organized and reflect on their learning by providing access to completed assessments and answer sheets. As a teacher, you have full control over when students can view their scores and feedback. This article walks through how to manage score visibility settings and explains what students will see depending on your selection.
What This Help Article Covers:
❌ How to Hide Scores
Use this option if you don’t want students to immediately see how they performed after submitting the assessment.
Step-by-Step:
Navigate to your Library tab and select the assessment.
In the pink Assign window, go to the right-hand side where your rosters appear.
Select “Don’t Show Scores to Students.”
Student Dashboard View
When this option is selected, students will only see a checkmark after submitting, confirming completion, but they won’t see their score or which questions they got right or wrong.
📤 How to Release Scores
When you're ready for students to review their results and any feedback you've provided, you can change the release setting at any time—even after they've submitted.
Step-by-Step:
Go to your Library tab and click on the assessment.
In the pink Assign window, go to the right-hand side where your rosters appear.
Choose “Show Scores and Answers to Students.”
Student Dashboard View
When this option is selected, students will see:
Their overall score
Which questions they got right or wrong (correct answers are NOT shown)
Any feedback you provided on free-response questions
👀 What Students See on Their Dashboard
Students can view their completed assessments anytime by going to the "Scores" tab on their InnerOrbit dashboard. However, they will only see their scores and answersheets if the assessment setting is set to "Show Scores and Answers to Students."
Step-by-Step:
Students log into their InnerOrbit dashboard.
Click the "Scores" tab.
See a list of completed assessments.
Click into the assessment to review their answers and feedback.
📌 Important Note: If the setting is still on “Don’t Show Scores,” they’ll only see that the assessment was completed, but no details.
