If you are a school or district administrator in InnerOrbit, you can make a folder visible to your school or district. Visible folders appear pinned at the top of the Library, making it easy for educators to access shared assessments.

This is especially helpful for:

  • Common assessments used across teams

  • Benchmarks and interim assessments

Pin a Folder to Your School or District Library

ℹ️ Before pinning a folder, you’ll need to create it first. Follow the steps in How to Organize Your Assessments Using Folders.

1. Go to the "Library" tab.

2. Under "Created by You", locate folder you want to share.

3. Select the three dots (⋮) on the folder.

4. Choose "Make Visible for School/District".

Make Subfolders Visible

Subfolders do not automatically become visible when the main folder is pinned. To ensure educators can see everything inside:

  1. Open the pinned folder to view subfolders.

  2. For each subfolder, select the three dots (⋮).

  3. Choose "Make Visible for School/District".

Repeat for each subfolder you want staff to access.

Tips for Organizing Shared Folders

  • Use subfolders to keep shared content easy to navigate (by grade, unit, or purpose).

  • Keep naming consistent so educators can scan quickly (example: “Grade 6 Unit 2 Checkpoint”).

  • If educators report missing folders or assessments, double-check that each subfolder is also set to "Make Visible for School/District".

ℹ️ If you’re sharing the folder before you’re ready to share the assessments, lock the assessments individually (folders can’t be locked). Learn how
