There are two ways to find the right questions and assessments on the Build tab:

  • Use the search bar if you know the standard or keyword you're looking for

  • Use Browse Tiles if you're not sure where to begin

This article walks you through what each Browse Tile contains so you can quickly find the best fit for your instructional goals.

🎓 Grade or Course Browse Tile

Browse phenomena, questions, and pre-made assessments by grade level or course.

This is a great starting point if you want to explore everything available for your grade or course — we'll guide you step by step to find the aligned performance expectation (PE) that fits your instructional goals.

📚 Curricula Browse Tile

Find pre-made assessments aligned to specific science curricula, such as Amplify, SciEd, and others.

If your school or district uses a particular curriculum, this tile helps you quickly find assessments that match your instructional materials.

🔍 Inventories Browse Tile

Browse InnerOrbit's ready-to-use inventory assessments by grade level or course. Inventories assess all standards within a grade or course, including Science and Engineering Practices (SEPs) and Crosscutting Concepts (CCCs) — making them a great tool for getting a broad picture of student understanding at the start of the year or unit.

🔬 SEP Practice Browse Tile

Find phenomena and questions that give students focused practice with Science and Engineering Practices (SEPs). SEP Practice questions are built around phenomena not tied to specific performance expectation content — making them flexible for use across units or as standalone practice.
