🔬 States with NGSS-Aligned Standards

Many states have developed NGSS-aligned science standards, though some vary slightly in structure or naming conventions.

What You Need to Know:

  • Most NGSS states follow a similar framework, making InnerOrbit assessments broadly applicable.

  • Some states use different terminology or formatting, but InnerOrbit’s assessments still align with the intent of NGSS.

📌 Example:

  • Oklahoma uses grade-specific labels instead of grade bands and has minor variations in Science and Engineering Practices (SEPs).
