InnerOrbit is designed to automatically sync to your local time zone. However, depending on browser or security settings, it may not always reflect your actual location. This can cause confusion when reviewing assignment timestamps.

What This Help Article Covers:

🧭 Why Your Time Zone Matters

An accurate time zone ensures that timestamps in your Assignment Reports reflect your actual class schedule.

This is especially important for:

  • Tracking completion across different class periods

  • Accurately reviewing late or missing assignments

  • Supporting retake assessments

⚙️ How to Adjust Your Time Zone

If your student submission times look incorrect, it may be due to your time zone settings. Here’s how to fix it:

  1. Hover over your name in the top-right corner of your screen

  2. Click Profile from the dropdown menu

  3. Select the Update Information tile

  4. Click the pencil icon next to your current time zone

  5. Choose your correct time zone from the dropdown list

  6. Click the check icon to save

  7. Click My Dashboard to return to the homepage

🎉 That’s it! Your student submission data will now reflect your correct local time.
