InnerOrbit aligns with the New York High School Science Standards (NYSSLS) and can be accessed using the search feature.

Step 1: From the "Build" tab, begin typing "NY" into the search bar, and a list of NYSSLS standards will generate.

Step 2: Select the specific standard you are searching for, then select the phenomena or pre-made assessments you would like to view.

Here's how you can find the assessment questions aligned with the California High School Three Course Model on InnerOrbit:

Step 1: From the "Build" tab, select the "High School" browse tile.

Step 2: Select the browse tile "California 3-Course (Integrated)".

Step 3: To access the standards specific to each course, select the appropriate Course Browse tile.

Step 4: Select the standard group you are looking for.

Step 5: Select the specific standard, and then you be able to view aligned phenomena & questions.

Many states have developed NGSS-aligned science standards. For more information, please visit your state's science standards website.

Note that NGSS-aligned standards may vary slightly between states. InnerOrbit's assessments can still be used effectively, but be mindful of these minor differences when creating assessments.

For example, Oklahoma’s middle school standards titles begin with specific grade levels rather than grade bands and include slight variations in the Science and Engineering Practices elements.
