All students can magnify images in assessments by clicking on the image to see an enlarged version. This is default setting and does not need to be individually set!

Recommended Translator: Google Translate

Google Translate integrates with InnerOrbit's text on phenomena descriptions questions, and answer choices to translate content into any language. Explore the two methods for using Google Translate below. ⬇️

Option 1: Google Chrome Extension

The Google Chrome Extension translates highlighted words or phrases within phenomena descriptions and question answer choices by clicking the icon.

However, the extension will not translate:

  1. The assessment question in blue

  2. Text within images

If you would like the assessment question translated, please refer to option 2 to use the built-in browser translation feature.

To Change Pop-up Translation Options:

You can change the Google Translate Extension setting to pop-up the word/phrase translation automatically ("Options" > "Immediately Display Popup").

Option 2: Built-in Google Translate for Webpages

When using the Google Chrome Browser, users can translate an entire webpage by following the directions below:

1. In the student's Google Chrome browser window, click on the three dots to open the browser menu. Then, select "Translate...".

2. Once open, click on the three dots to view additional options.

3. Click on "Choose Another Language", then select the desired language.

4. The webpage should automatically translate. If not, please refresh the page. Please note that text within images are not translated.
