As a district leader, managing school-level access for your teachers is key to keeping things organized and efficient. This guide will walk you through granting or removing school administrator access and creating new school admin accounts.

🚀How to Grant School Admin Access

  1. Navigate to the "School" Tab

    • Locate the "School" tab in the top navigation bar.

  2. Find the Correct School Site

    • Once inside the "School" tab, locate the school where the educator you want to grant school admin access is assigned.

  3. Select "Make School Admin"

    • Click the "Make School Admin" button next to the educator's name.

    • The button will turn gray, confirming that school admin access is now enabled.

🎉 That’s it! The educator now has school administrator access.

👀 What Can School Admins See?

Once granted access, school administrators can view enhanced student performance data and reports across their school.

❌ How to Disable School Admin Access?

To remove school administrator access:

  1. Locate the "Make School Admin" button next to the teacher’s name.

  2. Click it again to disable school admin access.

    • The button will turn orange, indicating that school admin access has been removed.


➕ How to Create New School Admin Accounts

If you want to add a new school admin who doesn’t already have an InnerOrbit account, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Desired School

    • While in the "School" tab, go to the specific school where you want to create a school admin account.

  2. Select "+ Create New Accounts for School Admin"

    • Click the "+ Create New Accounts for School Admin" button to begin creating a new school admin account.

  3. Choose the Login Method

    • Decide if the new admin will log in with a Google Account or a username and password.

  4. Follow the On-Screen Instructions

    • Enter the required details in this format:

  5. Finalize the Account Creation

    • Click "Continue" to confirm the details, then select "Create Accounts" on the confirmation page.

🎉 Congratulations! You’ve successfully created new school admin accounts. The new admins can now log into InnerOrbit using the selected method (Google or username/password) and access school-wide data.
