For School/District Admin: How can we make a district/school "pinned" folder?

If you are a school or district administrator for your school on InnerOrbit, you can "pin" a folder to the top of your school/district's "Library"!

This is perfect for common assessments that many teachers need to access.

To "pin" a folder for your school/district:

  1. Click the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the folder.

  2. Select "Make Visible for School/District".

  3. This will pin the main folder at the top of your entire school or district's Library.

  4. Subfolders within the pinned folder are not automatically visible. To ensure all content is visible to your school or district:

    1. Select the main folder to view all subfolders

    2. For each subfolder, select the three-dot menu (⋮).

    3. Choose “Make Visible for School/District.” for each subfolder

If you do not see these options, you are more than likely not a school or district admin in our system. Please reach out the site chat so our team can add admin privileges to your account!

Folders Tips

  • You can make subfolders within folders for even MORE organization!

  • Can’t see everything in a pinned folder? Double-check the visibility settings!

You’ll need to manually select “Make Visible for the District” for each subfolder—otherwise, they won’t appear for other users, even if the main folder is pinned.

  • Folders are a great way to organize your assessments by year, unit, grade, etc.
